Instructions

Practice along with a metronome starting at the tempo you played at last time and increase the speed by 5-10BPM each time if you find it easy. Repeat 2-3 times.

Minor & Major Pentatonics.png

Instructions

Practice in the key of A Minor and play the scale down and up 2-3 times using the correct fingers and alternate picking. Repeat in B Minor.
(5 minutes)

Improvise

Improvise using the Natural Minor Scale to Backing Track 1 (A Minor). Then improvise over Backing Track 3 (B Minor) using the B Natural Minor Scale & the relative Major Pentatonic Scale together.

Techniques

Use slides, hammer ons, pull offs and bends.

Work on phrasing, leaving space, skipping strings, repeating simple melodic ideas.
